As an Auto Care Center Technician at our Chiefland location, you'll be the trusted expert keeping vehicles running smoothly for families throughout Levy County. What You'll Do
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and battery replacements
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools
- Execute repairs and maintenance following manufacturer specifications and Walmart standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about service needs, recommendations, and repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Document all services and repairs accurately in our system
- Meet quality and safety standards while working efficiently to serve customers promptly
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or auto mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and automotive systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools proficiently
- Excellent customer service skills and professional communication
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
