About the Role
As an Electrician Apprentice at EMCOR Group, you'll work alongside experienced electricians to develop core competencies in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance. This position combines classroom instruction with practical on-the-job training, preparing you for a rewarding career in the electrical trade.
What You'll Do
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Learn and apply electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices on every project
- Support installation of wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems
- Participate in troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure work site safety and cleanliness
- Contribute to specialized projects including industrial maintenance and system integration
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in the electrical trade
- Physical capability to perform fieldwork, including climbing, standing, and working in various weather conditions
- Commitment to safety and willingness to follow procedures and protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a skilled trade team
- No prior electrical experience required — we provide comprehensive training
