About the Role

As a Truck Gate Security Officer, you'll oversee entry and exit procedures at our truck gate, working directly from detailed post orders and your own judgment to identify and respond to potential security concerns. This is a hands-on position where your vigilance, professionalism, and decision-making directly impact site safety.

What You'll Do

• Control and monitor truck gate access, verifying driver credentials, vehicle documentation, and cargo information before allowing entry or exit
• Conduct vehicle inspections and physical security checks of perimeter areas, noting any unusual activity or maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all vehicles, personnel, and incidents occurring during your shift
• Build and maintain professional relationships with regular customers, delivery partners, local law enforcement, and fire department personnel
• Respond to security incidents and breaches according to post orders, escalating to management when necessary
• Demonstrate constant situational awareness, identifying and reporting suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts
• Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing Andy Frain Services to clients and the community

What We're Looking For

• Security clearance or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
• Attention to detail and solid documentation abilities
• Physical capability to perform regular foot patrols and stand for extended periods
• Reliability and professional judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
