Nussbaum Transportation is actively seeking experienced OTR Dry Van Company Drivers to join our fleet in Rocky Ridge, Sainte Genevieve County. This full-time position offers competitive compensation, structured growth incentives, and a workplace built on faith and family values.
About the Role
As an Over-the-Road Dry Van Driver, you will operate company equipment to transport freight throughout the United States. You'll take ownership of safe, professional service, maintain strong customer relationships, and represent our commitment to reliability and integrity on every route.
What You'll Do
- Operate a dry van trailer on regional and long-haul routes across the country
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT standards
- Maintain detailed logbooks and complete delivery documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Comply with all federal hours-of-service regulations and safety requirements
- Protect freight integrity while meeting delivery commitments
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving history
- Minimum two years of verifiable OTR driving experience
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and DOT inspection procedures
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Safety-first mindset and professional demeanor
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and extended time away from home
Compensation & Benefits
Earn between $76,000 and $92,000 in your first year based on experience. Plus, receive a $3,000 Dry Van Transition Bonus paid in three installments: $1,000 upon successful orientation completion, $1,000 at three months, and $1,000 at six months. We also provide competitive insurance coverage and benefits designed with our drivers in mind.
