About the Role
As Associate Director of Campus Selection, you'll lead our campus recruitment and talent development initiatives. Working 40 hours per week in our Clayton office (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), you'll identify promising students, guide their professional growth, and help them launch rewarding careers in financial services. This is an exempt-level position offering leadership experience in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute campus recruitment strategies across universities and college programs
- Evaluate and select student candidates based on potential for professional and personal development
- Build strategic relationships with campus partners, student organizations, and academic institutions
- Design and oversee campus selection processes and candidate assessment programs
- Mentor emerging talent as they transition into financial services careers
- Coordinate campus events, recruiting activities, and outreach initiatives
- Contribute to Northwestern Mutual's mission of helping communities achieve financial security
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in campus recruitment, talent development, or student engagement
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and mentor emerging professionals
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Passion for developing talent and serving your community
- Knowledge of financial services or related industries preferred
