About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care to our patient population. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment while utilizing your clinical expertise to improve patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapeutic procedures to patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
- Operate, manage, and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory care equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical response to respiratory interventions
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate patient documentation and records
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue events
- Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory procedures and equipment use
What We're Looking For
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
- Valid Texas state respiratory therapy license
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong foundation in respiratory physiology, pathology, and clinical protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Professional reliability and flexibility with scheduling
