About the Role
Alto Pharmacy, part of Fuze Health, is building patient-centered healthcare solutions that improve lives. We're expanding our finance team and seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of critical accounting functions within our hospice division. You'll work with a mission-driven organization that prioritizes compassionate care while maintaining operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Manage general ledger accounts, journal entries, and monthly reconciliations for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and account schedules in support of month-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support informed decision-making across the organization
- Ensure financial records comply with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls standards
- Lead special accounting projects, including cost analysis and process improvements
- Coordinate with auditors and support external audit and compliance activities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to the development of finance team capabilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and reporting
- Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial matters
- Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
