ZRS is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified in Jonesboro, Clayton County. You'll deliver essential maintenance and repair services that keep our operations running smoothly and our residents satisfied every day.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified, you'll be at the core of our facilities operations. Working directly with the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll respond to maintenance requests, diagnose system issues, and execute repairs with skill and professionalism. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement timely repairs
- Handle EPA-regulated refrigerants safely and in full compliance with applicable regulations
- Document maintenance activities and track equipment performance
- Respond to maintenance requests and address emergency repair needs
- Inspect facilities to identify and address maintenance issues before they escalate
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize work effectively
What We're Looking For
- Valid EPA Section 608 Certification
- Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician or in a skilled trades role
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, equipment specifications, and system diagrams
- Reliable, safety-conscious work habits with strong attention to detail
- Physical capability to work in varied conditions and access equipment areas
