About the Role
We're looking for a Commercial Litigation Attorney who brings both technical expertise and the resilience to thrive under pressure. You'll work alongside attorneys from diverse professional backgrounds—including public service, education, and experience at both large and boutique firms—in an environment that values substantive legal work and strong client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Handle the full lifecycle of commercial disputes, from case evaluation and discovery through trial preparation and resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other critical court documents
- Conduct legal research and develop strategy on complex commercial matters
- Represent clients in depositions and court proceedings
- Manage case timelines, discovery obligations, and court deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners on high-stakes litigation
- Communicate clearly and regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record as a commercial litigation attorney or substantive litigation experience
- Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and commercial law
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented approach to legal work
- Ability to manage multiple matters and adapt to changing priorities
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
