About the Role
As Lead Infant Teacher at our Alpharetta facility, you'll guide a team of educators while providing direct care, learning activities, and developmental support to infants. This full-time position centers on creating a responsive, stimulating classroom within our state-of-the-art facilities where your expertise and warmth support discovery, safety, and healthy growth during these critical early months.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that support infant motor, cognitive, and social-emotional growth
- Supervise classroom staff and maintain consistent, high-quality care aligned with early childhood best practices
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment that meets all state regulations and licensing standards
- Build strong family relationships through daily communication and progress updates on each child's development
- Observe and document developmental milestones to guide individualized learning and care approaches
- Model responsive, nurturing caregiving that meets each infant's unique needs and temperament
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience working with infants—expertise in infant care and development is required
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices for the infant age group
- Leadership capability and comfort training and mentoring classroom team members
- Strong communication skills to partner effectively with families and colleagues
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Genuine passion for early childhood education and a patient, nurturing approach
- High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education training or degree preferred
