Appalachian Mountain Cl seeks a full-time MWI Facilities Manager for our Greenville location in Piscataquis County, Maine. Lead year-round operations and guest services at our premier facilities in the Moosehead Lake Region, supervising staff and ensuring operational excellence.
About the Role
As MWI Facilities Manager, you'll work in partnership with the MWI Operations Manager to oversee comprehensive facility operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences. This leadership position combines strategic planning with hands-on involvement in daily operations at a high-quality, full-service hospitality venue.
What You'll Do
- Manage year-round facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements
- Supervise facility staff and develop team members through training and mentoring
- Deliver and oversee guest services, ensuring exceptional visitor experiences
- Establish and implement risk management and safety protocols
- Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and cost management
- Monitor regulatory compliance and organizational standards
- Coordinate department scheduling and operational workflows
- Address operational challenges and implement solutions
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, hospitality, or operations management
- Proven leadership and staff supervision abilities
- Strong understanding of facility maintenance, safety standards, and risk management
- Commitment to guest service excellence
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
- Problem-solving orientation and attention to operational detail
- Flexibility with scheduling, including varied hours and seasonal demands
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
