LEGOLAND® FL | Show Technician

RWS Global is hiring a Show Technician to join our production team in Tampa, Hillsborough County, supporting live entertainment and special events for premier venues across the United States. This is a full-time position where you'll work at the intersection of technology and live performance, ensuring every show runs flawlessly.

About the Role

As a Show Technician, you'll be responsible for the technical setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment that brings our live productions to life. Working directly with our creative and operations teams, you'll ensure sound, lighting, projection, and other technical systems perform reliably during every performance. This role demands attention to detail, quick problem-solving, and a commitment to supporting world-class entertainment experiences.

What You'll Do

• Set up, configure, and test audio, video, and lighting equipment before performances
• Operate technical systems during live shows, managing cues and transitions
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively to minimize downtime
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on production equipment
• Collaborate with directors, stage managers, and other crew members to execute flawless shows
• Transport, store, and organize technical equipment in compliance with safety standards
• Document technical specifications and maintain equipment logs

What We're Looking For

• Experience with live event technology, theatrical production, or entertainment venue operations
• Technical proficiency with audio, lighting, or audiovisual systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to lift equipment, work at heights, and stand for extended periods
• Reliability and flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
