About the Role

This is a seasonal, full-time position where exact start and end dates shift based on weather conditions and project demands. As an Off-Track Railroad Spray Technician, you'll be responsible for applying vegetation control products along railroad rights-of-way to eliminate unwanted growth and maintain track clarity. Your work directly supports railroad safety and operational efficiency while adhering to strict environmental and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Apply vegetation control treatments to railroad corridors using industry-standard spray equipment
• Operate and maintain spray application equipment in safe, effective working condition
• Follow precise application protocols to meet railroad specifications and environmental requirements
• Document application work, weather conditions, and product usage for compliance tracking
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet seasonal project timelines
• Maintain safety standards and use personal protective equipment correctly at all times

What We're Looking For

• Experience or demonstrated aptitude in vegetation management, pesticide application, or railroad maintenance work
• Ability to operate spray equipment and handle chemical products responsibly
• Physical capability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and terrain
• Reliability and strong work ethic to meet seasonal project deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to obtain or maintain relevant pesticide applicator certifications if required
