About the Role
As an Admission Counselor in our Undergraduate Admission office, you'll be the face of Maryland Institute College of Art to prospective students and their families. This is a hands-on position that combines relationship-building, detailed communication, and a genuine passion for higher education.
What You'll Do
- Conduct personalized meetings with prospective students and families to discuss MICA's programs, values, and community
- Lead campus tours highlighting our facilities, studios, and student spaces
- Represent the college at recruitment events, open houses, and college fairs across the region
- Build and maintain relationships with high school counselors and educational advisors
- Support the application review and enrollment decision process
- Maintain records and follow up with candidates to guide enrollment decisions
- Travel to recruit in assigned territories and support regional recruitment efforts
- Create a welcoming, positive experience for all prospective students

- Bachelor's degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Employment
This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $41,500 to $51,800, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
