About the Role

The Certified Medical Assistant is essential to the daily operations of our clinic, working closely with healthcare providers and nursing staff to ensure every patient receives quality care. What You'll Do

• Perform clinical assessments including vital signs, patient history documentation, and basic point-of-care testing
• Prepare examination rooms, patients, and necessary equipment for provider visits
• Assist providers during patient exams, procedures, and diagnostic activities
• Manage electronic health records with accuracy and attention to privacy requirements
• Coordinate scheduling, patient check-in, and insurance verification
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment that meets safety and infection control standards
• Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion

What We're Looking For

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or equivalent medical assistant certification
• Active unrestricted licensure to practice in North Carolina
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and medical office software
• Strong phlebotomy and specimen handling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a busy clinic setting
