Senior Accountant

Join Gpac as a Senior Accountant and lead financial operations in our Springfield, Washington County manufacturing facility. About the Role

As Senior Accountant at Gpac in Springfield, Washington County, you'll own key accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on position balances individual execution with process improvement, positioning you at the center of our financial operations and strategic planning initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Execute daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements and reporting packages for management and external stakeholders
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform financial planning and decision-making
• Design, document, and strengthen internal accounting controls and compliance procedures
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial analysis
• Identify efficiency opportunities and implement accounting system improvements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience with hands-on AP/AR, general ledger, and financial close responsibilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet modeling
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
