Service Technician

Brinson Chevrolet in Kaufman is hiring a full-time Service Technician to deliver expert vehicle maintenance and repair services that keep our customers' vehicles running safely and reliably.

About the Role

As a Service Technician with Brinson Chevrolet, you'll be at the heart of our service department, diagnosing vehicle issues, performing maintenance, and executing repairs that meet manufacturer standards. This is a full-time position based in Kaufman, Kaufman County, where you'll work on a diverse range of vehicles, building relationships with customers while maintaining the high-quality workmanship our dealership is known for.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire rotations
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using manufacturer specifications and diagnostic tools
• Execute repairs on engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and other vehicle systems
• Test repaired vehicles to ensure safety and proper operation
• Document work orders accurately and communicate findings to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized service bay
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to prioritize customer needs
