Knoxville's Community Development Corporation seeks a dedicated Groundskeeper for full-time, year-round work maintaining the grounds and landscapes at our managed properties across Knoxville, Knox County. This position offers the opportunity to take pride in your work as part of a collaborative maintenance team supporting our mission to serve the community.
About the Role
As Groundskeeper for KCDC, you'll perform essential landscaping and ground maintenance across our apartment buildings and property fixtures. Working throughout the year in all weather conditions, you'll be a key member of our maintenance crew, tackling skilled tasks that keep our communities looking their best while supporting our broader mission and strategic objectives.
What You'll Do
- Maintain landscaping, lawns, gardens, and grounds at KCDC properties
- Perform ground preparation, planting, and seasonal maintenance
- Care for shrubs, trees, and other landscape features
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members
- Respond to grounds maintenance needs year-round, including in adverse weather
- Support KCDC's community development mission through quality grounds upkeep
What We're Looking For
- Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related skilled trades
- Ability to perform physical work in all weather conditions
- Reliability and consistent attendance for full-time, year-round employment
- Willingness to work as part of a maintenance team
- Commitment to supporting our community development goals
