About the Role
As a Traveling General Superintendent specializing in aviation construction, you'll provide senior leadership and on-site direction for major construction projects at commercial and regional aviation facilities. This position combines strategic project oversight with hands-on site management, requiring your presence across multiple project locations. You'll ensure all work meets aviation industry standards, client requirements, and safety compliance.
What You'll Do
- Direct daily construction operations and workforce deployment at aviation facility projects
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet timelines and performance targets
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, aviation industry standards, and compliance requirements
- Lead and supervise construction teams, trades, and subcontractors across project sites
- Conduct quality inspections and coordinate with engineers, architects, and facility stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and adjust operations to keep work on schedule and on budget
- Manage equipment, materials, and logistics for active construction sites
- Travel to assigned project locations as needed to maintain on-site leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a General Superintendent or similar senior construction leadership role
- Background managing commercial construction or aviation facility projects
- Strong ability to manage budgets and multi-phase project schedules
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to assigned project locations
