What You'll Do
- Provide structured supervision to individuals on probation, monitoring compliance with all court-ordered conditions
- Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments to tailor supervision strategies for each probationer
- Perform home visits, maintain regular contact, and conduct field investigations as needed
- Prepare detailed case notes and reports for the court, documenting progress and any violations
- Coordinate with treatment providers, vocational programs, and community resources to support successful rehabilitation
- Conduct drug screening and alcohol testing protocols consistent with court mandates
- Respond to violations and crises, taking appropriate enforcement or supportive action as circumstances require
- Testify in court proceedings regarding probationer status and case developments
- Collaborate with law enforcement, social services, and other agencies to maintain community safety
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and clearance process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in case documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with complex needs
- Professional judgment and ethical decision-making in high-responsibility situations
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
