About the Role

This is a dynamic retail role in a busy thrift store serving the North Springfield and Fairfax County community. You'll work alongside our team to create a welcoming environment where customers find great value on pre-owned clothing, accessories, and household goods. Every shift brings variety—helping shoppers, merchandising unique donations, and being part of a growing movement toward sustainable consumption.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance throughout their shopping experience
• Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale systems
• Receive, sort, and merchandise donated items to create attractive, easy-to-browse displays
• Stock shelves and maintain organized, visually appealing merchandise
• Handle cash and payment processing with accuracy and integrity
• Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
• Answer customer questions about product quality, pricing, and store operations
• Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative culture

What We're Looking For

• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and organize inventory
