What You'll Do
- Support store leadership in daily operations, staffing decisions, and customer service standards
- Train and motivate team members to confidently discuss product benefits and build lasting customer relationships
- Manage inventory accuracy, ordering, and merchandising across natural and premium pet food selections
- Respond to customer inquiries about nutritional needs, product sourcing, and health-related benefits
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain loyalty and trust
- Contribute to visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and an inviting shopping environment
- Monitor sales performance and assist in developing strategies to grow store revenue
What We're Looking For
- Retail management experience, preferably in pet supplies, natural products, or specialty retail
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and retain a diverse team
- Genuine passion for pet nutrition and wellness—or willingness to develop that expertise
- Strong communication skills with both customers and internal staff
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management, and basic math
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and seasonal peaks
- Problem-solving mindset and comfort with hands-on responsibilities
