Maximus seeks a strategic Federal Marketing Principal Specialist to lead integrated marketing initiatives across our Federal Markets portfolio—Defense, Civilian, Federal Healthcare, National Security, and Space sectors. This full-time, hybrid remote role is based in the McLean, VA/DC area and serves as a critical partnership with business development, capture, and growth leaders.

About the Role

You'll drive high-impact marketing programs that strengthen Maximus's competitive position in federal contracting. Working directly with business development and capture teams, you'll develop compelling messaging, define go-to-market strategies, and execute campaigns that accelerate growth across all federal market segments.

What You'll Do

• Lead integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives supporting federal business development strategies
• Collaborate with business development, capture, and growth teams to align messaging with market opportunities
• Develop strategic positioning and win strategies for federal defense, civilian, healthcare, national security, and space sector clients
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform campaign strategy and tactical execution
• Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate marketing resources across multiple federal verticals
• Measure campaign performance, analyze results, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in federal government marketing, federal contracting, or related B2B marketing roles
• Demonstrated expertise in federal procurement, government market dynamics, and capture strategy
• Track record leading strategic marketing initiatives and integrated campaigns at a senior level
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate strategy into executable plans
• Results-oriented approach with experience measuring marketing effectiveness and ROI
