Cardinal Health is hiring a Senior Benefits Consultant to drive benefits strategy and administration at our Oklahoma City office. In this full-time role, you'll design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits programs that attract and retain top talent across our organization.

About the Role

As a Sr. Benefits Consultant, you'll take ownership of benefits program lifecycle—from strategic planning through day-to-day administration. You'll partner with leadership to align benefits offerings with business objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver programs that resonate with our workforce. This is a hands-on position balancing strategic initiatives with operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Design and evaluate health insurance, retirement, and supplemental benefits programs to meet employee needs and organizational goals
  • Manage benefits plan administration, including enrollment, billing, claims review, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with ERISA, ACA, and other applicable federal and state benefits regulations
  • Develop clear communications and educational materials to help employees understand and maximize their benefits
  • Conduct benefits analyses, cost projections, and ROI assessments to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and IT to integrate benefits data systems and support seamless administration
  • Support HR initiatives including talent acquisition, retention programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts through strategic benefits design
  • Respond to employee benefits inquiries and provide consultative guidance on plan options

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits design, administration, or consulting
  • Strong knowledge of group health insurance, retirement plans, and ancillary benefits programs
  • Demonstrated expertise in benefits compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems
  • Ability to translate complex benefits concepts into clear, actionable guidance for employees
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • Benefits certifications (CBP, GBA) or willingness to pursue are a plus
