Director, Investor Relations

Join Zenas BioPharma as Director of Investor Relations and lead our capital markets strategy from our headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts. This full-time role offers the opportunity to shape how the investment community perceives and engages with our clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company as we advance transformative therapies for autoimmune disease patients globally.

About the Role

As our Director of Investor Relations, you'll own all aspects of investor communications, strategy, and engagement. You'll work at the intersection of finance, strategy, and corporate development to build lasting relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and capital markets participants while supporting our executive team in executing our business vision.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with corporate growth initiatives and capital markets conditions
• Lead investor communications, including earnings calls, investor conferences, and one-on-one meetings with institutional investors and analysts
• Prepare investor presentations, financial materials, and market updates that accurately convey our clinical progress and business strategy
• Coordinate with finance, clinical, and executive teams to gather and synthesize data for investor-focused reporting
• Monitor market sentiment, competitive positioning, and investor perception to inform strategic recommendations
• Manage relationships with sell-side analysts covering our company and the broader autoimmune disease sector
• Support corporate communications on market developments, partnerships, and clinical milestones as they relate to investor interest

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of investor relations, corporate finance, or capital markets experience, ideally in biopharmaceutical or life sciences
• Demonstrated track record managing investor relations for clinical-stage or growth-oriented biotech companies
• Strong understanding of clinical development timelines, regulatory pathways, and how these drive investment decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to distill complex science and business strategy for diverse audiences
• Experience preparing and presenting at investor conferences and managing analyst relations
• Analytical mindset with comfort working in data and financial metrics
• Ability to build relationships and influence across internal stakeholders and external investors
