HARDY INDUSTRIES is hiring IT and Telecom Field Technicians for full-time positions in Ponderosa, Cumberland County. This is hands-on, field-based work serving a national client base—ideal for technicians who want meaningful technical challenges beyond the helpdesk.
About the Role
You'll deploy directly to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, and optimize IT and telecommunications infrastructure. Your expertise will keep critical systems operational for businesses across the region, with the flexibility and growth opportunities that an expanding company provides.
What You'll Do
- Install and configure operating systems, networking equipment, and telecom infrastructure on-site
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues quickly and professionally
- Perform preventive maintenance and document all service activities in detail
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand needs and confirm solutions work as expected
- Coordinate with internal support teams on complex technical issues requiring specialized input
- Maintain technical knowledge as platforms and systems evolve
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as an IT field technician, systems technician, or telecom field specialist
- Hands-on proficiency with system installation, troubleshooting, and network setup
- Strong independent judgment and time-management skills working in the field
- Clear communication and customer-focused approach to technical problem-solving
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfort traveling to multiple customer sites within your service region
