Ankura seeks an experienced Managing Director to lead its Cybersecurity and Information Governance practice in Nebraska. This is a full-time position with a firm renowned for delivering innovative solutions across incident response, complex investigations, threat intelligence, and cyber risk management.
About the Role
As Managing Director of Cybersecurity and Information Governance, you'll drive the strategic direction and execution of our growing cybersecurity practice. You'll lead cross-functional teams, build client relationships, and oversee the delivery of integrated security solutions that help organizations protect their most critical assets and navigate evolving regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals across incident response, investigations, and managed security services
- Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for expanded engagement
- Direct the development and delivery of cybersecurity solutions, including threat intelligence, expert consulting, and remediation services
- Drive practice growth through thought leadership, service innovation, and market positioning
- Oversee information governance and data privacy initiatives aligned with client and regulatory requirements
- Ensure quality delivery, risk management, and compliance across all engagements
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity with demonstrated leadership in a consulting or advisory environment
- Proven track record managing complex incident response, investigations, and threat assessment projects
- Strong understanding of information governance, data privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks
- Experience building and scaling security practices or teams within a consulting firm
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate market opportunities into practice growth
