Framatome Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Specialist I focused on fuel rod bundles and cages in Richland, Benton County. This is a full-time position supporting our ongoing mission in nuclear technology and clean energy innovation.
About the Role
You will develop, deliver, and refine technical training programs for operators, technicians, and manufacturing teams working with fuel rod bundle and cage systems. Your expertise will ensure personnel understand assembly procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols. You'll create training materials, conduct hands-on instruction, and evaluate competency across multiple operational and manufacturing environments.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver training modules covering rod bundle assembly, cage construction, and related fuel component systems
- Develop technical documentation, procedures, and instructional materials for manufacturing and operational personnel
- Conduct competency assessments and track training completion across teams
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to identify training needs and update curricula as systems evolve
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving through clear technical instruction and knowledge transfer
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
What We're Looking For
- Technical background in nuclear engineering, manufacturing, or related field
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Experience developing training programs or technical documentation
- Familiarity with nuclear fuel assembly components or manufacturing processes preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and quality in a regulated industry environment
