Join Conagra Brands as a Senior Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Springfield, Illinois. In this full-time role, you'll partner directly with the Manager of Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs to ensure our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

You'll play a critical part in protecting our consumers and maintaining Conagra's reputation for excellence. Reporting to the Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you'll drive the execution of food safety protocols, quality assurance programs, and regulatory requirements across our operational facilities.

What You'll Do

• Execute comprehensive quality assessments at our manufacturing facilities, documenting findings against established regulatory and operational guidance documents
• Identify gaps, deficiencies, and areas of non-compliance in food safety and quality procedures, then develop corrective action plans
• Maintain detailed records and documentation to demonstrate adherence to federal, state, and company food safety standards
• Support the implementation and maintenance of food safety management systems across production operations
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Monitor regulatory updates and communicate changes to operational procedures and requirements
• Conduct training and provide guidance to facility personnel on food safety protocols and quality expectations

What We're Looking For

• Extensive background in food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs within manufacturing or food production
• Deep knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality management systems
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify compliance gaps and procedural issues
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Proven experience conducting assessments and developing corrective action strategies
• Familiarity with food safety documentation systems and regulatory reporting requirements
