About the Role
As an Indirect License Compliance Services Manager at EY, you'll direct the delivery of license compliance services for our tax clients, ensuring adherence to indirect tax regulations and licensing requirements across jurisdictions. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on engagement, allowing you to shape compliance programs while mentoring skilled team members.
What You'll Do
- Lead license compliance service delivery and strategy for enterprise and mid-market clients
- Oversee development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs
- Manage client relationships and ensure regulatory adherence across multiple states and jurisdictions
- Guide and mentor team members on complex indirect tax and licensing compliance matters
- Identify opportunities to strengthen service quality and drive operational improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive tax solutions
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing indirect tax compliance, license compliance, or regulatory programs
- Strong knowledge of state and local tax regulations, licensing frameworks, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated success leading teams and managing complex client engagements
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, or related field
- CPA, JD, or equivalent professional credential preferred
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment while maintaining precision and attention to detail
