Pickle Jam and Salsa Kitchen
Pickle Jam and Salsa Kitchen is hiring a Part-Time In-Store Sampling Representative (1099 Contractor) for the OKC and Edmond Metro area. You'll bring our artisan pickles, jams, and salsas to shoppers through engaging in-store tastings on flexible weekend schedules.
About the Role
As an In-Store Sampling Representative, you'll create memorable tasting experiences that introduce customers to our small-batch pickles, jams, and salsas. Working weekends at grocery and specialty retail locations throughout the Oklahoma City metro, you'll be the direct connection between our kitchen and the food lovers who discover our flavors at retail.
What You'll Do
- Set up and maintain an attractive, organized tasting station at participating retail locations
- Prepare and serve samples of our pickles, jams, and salsas to interested shoppers
- Answer customer questions about ingredients, flavor profiles, and product sourcing
- Engage shoppers with genuine enthusiasm about our small-batch recipes and craft
- Gather customer feedback to understand what resonates with our audience
- Represent Pickle Jam and Salsa Kitchen's brand story and commitment to quality
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout each shift
What We're Looking For
- Availability for Friday through Sunday shifts, 12–3 PM or 3–6 PM time slots
- Genuine passion for food, flavors, and authentic customer connections
- Comfort handling food preparation and maintaining health standards
- Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to represent our brand with professionalism and warmth
- Reliability and the capacity to work independently at retail locations
