Defense Cyber Operations Officer with Security Clearance

TekSynap is hiring a Defense Cyber Operations Officer with Security Clearance to join our team at our Fort Belvoir location in Fairfax County, Virginia. This is a full-time position supporting critical cyber defense coordination and systems management for the Department of Defense.

About the Role

The Defense Cyber Operations Officer with Security Clearance serves as the central hub for cyber communications and operational coordination within our organization. You'll manage real-time status tracking and reporting across multiple DTRA CSSP systems and applications, ensuring seamless information flow between stakeholders, operations teams, and leadership. Your role bridges technical cyber operations with strategic command priorities, translating complex technical status into clear, actionable briefing materials for senior decision-makers.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate all cyber operations communications, serving as the primary point of contact for status inquiries and operational updates
• Monitor, track, and report the operational status of DTRA CSSP systems and applications to ensure command-level visibility
• Develop and prepare briefing documentation that accurately reflects current tasking status and operational readiness for command team review
• Attend daily CTO meetings and represent cyber operations in other named operational meetings as required
• Maintain accurate records of cyber operations activities, decisions, and communications for compliance and continuity purposes

What We're Looking For

• Active or eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret level or higher
• Experience in military cyber operations, command support, or defense communications roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill technical information for senior leadership
• Familiarity with DTRA systems, CSSP frameworks, or similar classified defense information systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling sensitive operational information
