About the Role
You'll take ownership of core accounting functions in a fast-paced professional environment. This role combines transaction processing with operational oversight, giving you hands-on experience across multiple areas of accounting. The position sits at the heart of the organization's financial workflow, where accuracy and attention to detail directly impact reporting and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Process daily accounting transactions using the company's accounting software system (Blue Cherry)
- Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
- Handle accounts receivable operations, from invoice generation to collections tracking
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain organized documentation and transaction records in compliance with accounting standards
- Support month-end close procedures and financial reporting requirements
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve accounting questions and issues
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework or certification (such as Bookkeeping or AP/AR experience) is a plus
- Proficiency with accounting software and general spreadsheet applications
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all accounting work
- Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Reliability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
