Maintenance Technician – Pheasant Ridge

Dominium Management Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician at Pheasant Ridge in Atalissa, Muscatine County, to join our team dedicated to providing quality affordable housing and resident services.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping the Pheasant Ridge community safe, functional, and well-maintained. You'll perform routine repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance across residential and common areas, ensuring residents enjoy a quality living environment. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining properties and solving technical problems efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner
• Perform routine inspections of building systems, appliances, fixtures, and infrastructure
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
• Maintain grounds and exterior areas including landscaping, parking lots, and common spaces
• Document all work completed and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Follow safety protocols and comply with applicable regulations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, or related technical field
• Knowledge of common building systems and repair methods
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work at heights when necessary
• Professional communication and customer service skills
