TEKsystems c/o Allegis Group is seeking an experienced video content creator to join our team in Grand Central, Manhattan. This full-time position is ideal for a creative professional who excels at producing compelling short-form social media content, managing multiple concurrent projects, and delivering polished work on aggressive timelines.
About the Role
As a Digital Creator focused on social and user-generated content, you'll be the driving force behind our brand's video presence across social platforms. Working in our Manhattan studio, you'll take ownership of projects from initial concept through final delivery, working both autonomously and collaboratively to meet ambitious production schedules and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Develop creative concepts, shot lists, and production strategies for social media campaigns and user-generated content initiatives
- Direct, shoot, and produce high-impact short-form video content optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Reels
- Manage post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, sound design, and visual effects
- Juggle multiple creative projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality and meeting strict deadlines
- Collaborate with creative directors, brand strategists, and marketing teams to translate briefs into engaging video content
- Stay current with social media trends and platform best practices to ensure content remains fresh and relevant
What We're Looking For
- Proven portfolio demonstrating expertise in video production, social media content creation, and/or UGC
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software and video production tools
- Strong storytelling ability with an eye for visual composition and pacing
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage your own workflow in a self-directed environment
- Experience thriving under pressure with tight turnaround times and high-volume output demands
- Based in or willing to relocate to the New York area; this is an in-office, Manhattan-based role
