Join Gpac as a Corporate Transactional Attorney in Newburgh Heights, Cuyahoga County, where you'll build a growing practice in corporate law. We're looking for an accomplished attorney with at least two years of transactional experience to take on meaningful deals and client relationships in our Cleveland-area office.
About the Role
This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your transactional corporate law career within a professional services environment. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of corporate transactions, partnerships, and commercial matters while building direct client relationships and expanding your legal expertise.
What You'll Do
- Draft and negotiate corporate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, partnership agreements, and related ancillary agreements
- Advise clients on corporate structure, governance, compliance, and transaction strategy
- Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare transaction summaries for client and internal teams
- Manage transaction timelines, coordinate with external counsel and third parties, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Build and maintain client relationships through responsive counsel and strategic business advice
- Develop institutional knowledge of client industries and transactional best practices
What We're Looking For
- Licensed attorney with minimum two years of experience in corporate transactional law
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive approach to client service and business development
- Knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and transaction documentation
- Motivation to deepen your transactional practice and take on increasing responsibility
