Food Supervisor

About the Role

As Food Supervisor, you'll oversee daily food service operations, manage team performance, and ensure every meal meets Sodexo's standards for quality, safety, and service. You're responsible for maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment, training and mentoring dining staff, and coordinating with culinary teams to execute meal service smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Supervise food preparation and plating to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes and portion standards
• Schedule shifts, monitor attendance, and provide coaching to improve team performance
• Maintain HACCP compliance and food safety protocols; conduct regular sanitation and safety checks
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to minimize waste and control costs
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and communicate with management on staffing or supply needs
• Support special events, catering services, or high-volume periods as needed
• Work any shift schedule (details provided during the interview process)

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience supervising food service or kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation best practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate diverse teams
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm during high-volume service

• High school diploma or equivalent
