About the Role

As a Hospice Volunteer with BAYADA Home Health Care, you'll be an essential member of our interdisciplinary care team. Based in our Linwood office, you'll work alongside nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered support during one of life's most important transitions.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to hospice patients
• Sit with patients, listen to their stories, and offer presence during difficult moments
• Assist with comfort-focused activities such as reading, conversation, or gentle assistance
• Support family members by offering respite care and practical help
• Help create a calm, dignified environment that honors patient wishes and values
• Communicate with the care team about patient needs and family concerns
• Participate in volunteer training and ongoing professional development
