Pickle Jam and Salsa Kitchen
Pickle Jam and Salsa Kitchen is hiring an In-Store Sampling Representative to introduce shoppers to our artisanal pickles, jams, and salsas through engaging in-store tastings at retail locations across the Oklahoma City and Edmond metro areas.
About the Role
As our In-Store Sampling Representative, you'll be the face of Pickle Jam and Salsa Kitchen at retail partner locations. You'll set up interactive tasting stations, serve samples of our small-batch products, and connect customers directly with the quality and flavor our brand represents. This is independent contractor work on a part-time basis.
What You'll Do
- Establish and manage professional tasting stations at assigned retail locations
- Offer product samples to shoppers and answer questions about ingredients and flavor profiles
- Share the story and heritage behind our small-batch pickle, jam, and salsa offerings
- Engage customers authentically and gauge product interest and customer feedback
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and station cleanliness throughout each shift
- Work independently to represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Schedule and Requirements
- Friday through Sunday availability required
- Shift options: 12–3 PM or 3–6 PM
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage setup and breakdown independently
- Friendly, outgoing personality with genuine interest in food and customer interaction
- Professional appearance and strong service orientation
- Independent contractor (1099) status—you'll manage your own tax obligations
