As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver with Mclane Company, Inc., you'll operate commercial vehicles delivering essential products to retail locations, restaurants, and distribution partners across our service region. You'll be the face of the company at every stop, balancing efficiency with the customer service standards that have made Mclane a trusted supply partner for 130 years. Your work directly supports the brands Americans rely on every day.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial truck safely and professionally on assigned delivery routes
- Load, secure, and unload freight according to weight and safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to ensure on-time delivery
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Handle cash and payment transactions when required
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver (local or regional routes)
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to defensive driving practices
- Ability to work full-time and meet delivery schedules
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform lifting tasks
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and dispatch systems
