Compliance Analyst

Hanes Companies is hiring a Compliance Analyst in Conover, Catawba County to partner with leadership and internal audit teams in building a stronger control environment and maintaining financial compliance across the organization.

About the Role

This is a full-time position for a detail-oriented compliance professional ready to make a measurable impact on internal controls and risk management. You'll work at the intersection of audit, finance, and operations—identifying control gaps, testing control effectiveness, and supporting the organization's commitment to financial accuracy and regulatory adherence.

What You'll Do

• Support internal audit initiatives and control testing processes across departments
• Assess and document internal controls related to financial reporting, transaction processing, and operational activities
• Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure the organization stays current with compliance obligations
• Analyze financial statements and transaction data to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities
• Prepare compliance documentation, audit workpapers, and control testing reports for management and audit functions
• Communicate findings and remediation recommendations to department heads and senior leadership
• Support policy development and compliance training initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in internal audit, compliance, internal controls, or related financial roles
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and control design principles
• Experience evaluating operational and financial controls in a manufacturing or corporate environment preferred
• Solid foundation in audit procedures, risk assessment, and documentation standards
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex, multi-step processes
• Clear communication skills and ability to translate control issues for non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with Excel and demonstrated ability to work with finance or ERP systems
