As an HVAC Service Technician, you're the trusted professional who resolves complex system problems, performs preventive maintenance, and ensures equipment operates efficiently. What You'll Do
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using specialized testing tools and systematic troubleshooting
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections on cooling and heating equipment
- Replace components including compressors, motors, condensers, thermostats, and refrigerant lines
- Handle refrigerant safely in compliance with EPA regulations and environmental standards
- Document service activities, parts inventory, and labor time on detailed work orders
- Respond to routine and emergency service requests throughout the Sioux Falls area
- Educate customers on system operation and maintenance best practices
What We're Looking For
- EPA Section 608 certification (or commitment to obtaining it)
- Proven HVAC service experience or equivalent technical background
- Proficiency reading technical schematics and HVAC equipment manuals
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for service calls
- Physical ability to lift equipment and work in all weather conditions
- Professional communication and customer service skills
