About the Role

As an Assembler at Teledyne in Hawthorne, you'll be responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing sophisticated components and subassemblies. Your work directly impacts products used in aerospace and defense applications, factory automation systems, oceanographic research equipment, deepwater exploration technology, and medical imaging devices. What You'll Do

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to engineering specifications and detailed work instructions
• Perform quality inspections and testing throughout the assembly process
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly schematics
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments
• Complete and maintain accurate assembly documentation and test records
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
