Program Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) – Tucson, AZ

RTX Corporation is seeking a Program Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join our Tucson, Arizona facility. This full-time, onsite position leads enterprise security strategy and compliance initiatives for critical defense programs.

About the Role

As our Program Information Systems Security Manager in Tucson, you'll oversee security operations, risk management, and compliance frameworks for systems supporting national security missions. You'll partner with program leadership to design and execute security architectures that align with federal standards while enabling operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive information security programs in accordance with NIST standards, DoD directives, and federal compliance requirements
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations; recommend and implement corrective controls
• Lead the authorization and accreditation (A&A) process, coordinating with government agencies and internal stakeholders
• Oversee incident response procedures and coordinate with security teams during security events
• Establish security policies, standards, and procedures; ensure organization-wide adoption and training
• Manage security awareness and training programs to reinforce a culture of information security
• Monitor compliance with evolving regulations and threat landscapes; advise on emerging risks

What We're Looking For

• Active, transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (required before start date)
• U.S. citizenship
• Proven experience managing information security programs for federal contractors or government agencies
• Deep knowledge of NIST frameworks, DoD cybersecurity requirements, and federal compliance standards
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management, threat analysis, and security controls evaluation
• Strong program management and leadership skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
