Southern California Edison seeks a Program Safety Advisor for our Azusa location in Los Angeles County. About the Role

As a Program Safety Advisor, you'll own the development, review, and continuous improvement of safety programs that drive measurable results across our organization. You'll translate safety strategy into operational reality, partnering with teams across the company to identify risks, strengthen protocols, and build a culture where safety is non-negotiable. Your work directly impacts how we protect employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

  • Design, evaluate, and enhance safety programs and protocols to meet regulatory requirements and exceed industry standards
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop targeted mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and field teams to implement safety improvements and ensure consistent execution
  • Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis, audits, and stakeholder feedback
  • Lead training and communication initiatives that strengthen safety awareness and accountability organization-wide
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving safety regulations and best practices in the energy sector

  • Proven experience in safety program development, compliance management, or risk assessment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in safety, risk management, or related field
