Program Safety Advisor

Southern California Edison seeks a Program Safety Advisor for our Azusa location in Los Angeles County. This full-time role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide safety standards, lead program improvements, and protect our workforce and communities through effective risk management and compliance excellence.

About the Role

As a Program Safety Advisor, you'll own the development, review, and continuous improvement of safety programs that drive measurable results across our organization. You'll translate safety strategy into operational reality, partnering with teams across the company to identify risks, strengthen protocols, and build a culture where safety is non-negotiable. What You'll Do

• Design, evaluate, and enhance safety programs and protocols to meet regulatory requirements and exceed industry standards
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop targeted mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, and field teams to implement safety improvements and ensure consistent execution
• Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis, audits, and stakeholder feedback
• Lead training and communication initiatives that strengthen safety awareness and accountability organization-wide
• Maintain current knowledge of evolving safety regulations and best practices in the energy sector
