About the Role

As our Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist, you'll be the cornerstone of our front-office operations, creating a warm, professional environment where clients feel heard and supported from the moment they walk through our doors. Your bilingual abilities and strong interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate effectively with our diverse client base, ensuring no language barrier prevents anyone from accessing the mental health services they need.

What You'll Do

• Greet and check in clients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and cultural sensitivity
• Answer incoming calls, screen and route inquiries, and schedule appointments across our facilities
• Process intake forms, verify insurance information, and manage patient records in compliance with confidentiality standards
• Provide bilingual support to English- and Spanish-speaking clients, assisting with questions and general guidance
• Maintain an organized, efficient front desk that reflects the quality and care NYPCC stands for
• Assist in coordinating between clients and clinical staff to ensure seamless service delivery

What We're Looking For

• Fluent bilingual skills in English and Spanish (oral and written)
• Proven customer service experience in a professional healthcare or counseling setting (preferred)
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills with patients and the public
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain composure, and show empathy in a sensitive environment
• Proficiency with scheduling software, electronic health records systems, and standard office tools
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
