Social Media Manager – Hybrid

About the Role

As Social Media Manager, you'll develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that position XPO as a thought leader and employer of choice. You'll oversee content creation, community management, and analytics across platforms, working cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging and maximum reach. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring both creative vision and analytical rigor.

What You'll Do

• Create, schedule, and manage compelling content across corporate social media channels
• Develop and implement content calendars aligned with company goals and industry events
• Monitor social conversations, respond to audience inquiries, and foster community engagement
• Analyze performance metrics and reporting to optimize content strategy and channel growth
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and business unit teams on integrated campaigns
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging digital communication best practices
• Manage crisis communications protocols and brand reputation on social channels

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and/or military background
• 5+ years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital communications
• Demonstrated track record of growing and managing corporate social media presence
• Strong writing and creative skills with ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences
• Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems
• Excellent project management and ability to balance multiple priorities
• Understanding of social media best practices, SEO, and digital marketing principles
