As a Retail Mortgage Loan Originator at Truist Bank in Austin, you'll meet one-on-one with borrowers to understand their financial situations, present residential mortgage options suited to their goals, and guide them through the application and origination process. Working in close partnership with our underwriting and closing teams, you'll ensure each client receives clear communication and professional service from application to closing.
What You'll Do
- Meet with prospective clients to discuss mortgage needs and financial circumstances
- Present residential loan programs and explain product features, rates, and terms
- Collect, organize, and validate financial documentation for loan applications
- Originate residential mortgages and complete applications with accuracy and thoroughness
- Ensure all loan origination activities comply with federal and state regulations
- Coordinate with loan processors, underwriters, and closing teams to move applications forward
- Build and sustain strong client relationships throughout the mortgage process
What We're Looking For
