We're seeking a Food Service Assistant for our part-time evening shift to support our mission of providing quality meals and services in a values-driven environment.
About the Role
As a Food Service Assistant, you'll be part of our culinary team at our Mandan, North Dakota facility, working evening hours to prepare and serve nourishing meals to our seniors. This part-time position (24 hours per week) is essential to our residents' daily wellbeing, combining food preparation, kitchen operations, and customer service in a fast-paced, caring environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and food safety standards
- Serve meals and beverages to residents with attentiveness and kindness
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Restock food and supply inventory as needed
- Set up and clear dining areas for meal service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
- Support a welcoming, dignified dining experience for our residents
What We're Looking For
- Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work evening shift hours and be reliable
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and move throughout a kitchen environment
- A commitment to serving seniors with compassion and respect
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
