Towlift
Join Towlift as a Forklift Service Technician in Brooklyn Heights, Cuyahoga County, where you'll provide essential field maintenance and repair services for industrial material handling equipment. This is a full-time position supporting our customers' operations with hands-on technical expertise and reliable service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, and terminal tractors
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service work at customer locations throughout the region
- Execute breakdown repairs to minimize customer downtime and restore equipment functionality
- Manage and prioritize work orders to meet service commitments and deadlines
- Complete documentation and service records accurately for all work performed
- Report safety observations and incidents in compliance with company protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status and maintenance recommendations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing industrial vehicles and equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently in field settings and manage multiple service calls
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to serve customer sites across Brooklyn Heights and surrounding Cuyahoga County areas
- Professional customer service approach and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license required
